The Prospect Youth USA National Tryouts are for travel ball players looking to showcase their game. Tryouts are hosted all over the country as Prospect Youth USA is looking for the best youth players to compete in various national events.
Players will gain valuable experience in a tryout/showcase type setting. A variety of skills will be tested from hitting, fielding, throwing, running, agility and pitching. Get noticed at an early age with national media exposure from Prospect Youth USA. Official Prospect Youth USA scouts will evaluate all players and determine invitations to future events. The Prospect Youth USA National Tryouts are a great way to prepare any young player for what to expect at future showcase events during their high school career.
WHAT TO EXPECT
- Bring all necessary baseball equipment
- Wear baseball uniform / cleats / turf shoes
- All attendees will go through a professional tryout setting
- Testing measurements include the following:
- 40’/60′ Yard Dash
- Broad Jump
- Vertical Jump
- Shuttle Run
- Outfield Velocity
- Infield Velocity
- Catcher Pop
- Pitching Velocity
- Bat Exit Speed
Individual Events
As the Prospect Youth USA National Tryouts progress, some players may be selected for our Prospect Youth USA Elite All-Star Games locations and our Prospect Youth USA Select 100 Teams that compete in various national events throughout the year.
